The Waceya Métis Society is a Chartered Métis Community which serves Métis in the Langley & White Rock area. The society is comprised of an elected Board of Directors, an appointed Leadership Council, and the broader membership.

Waceya Métis Society takes Métis identity and representation with the utmost seriousness. Our heritage, culture, and rights as Métis people are integral to who we are, and we hold a deep responsibility to ensure that those who claim to represent us do so authentically and with respect for our shared history and the truth of our people.

Mission Statement

To identify the needs of the Métis people in Langley and White Rock by forming relationships through engaging and educating the communities on Métis culture. Providing inclusive opportunities for multiple generations. "Kaa-Wiichihitoyaahk" (meaning we take care of each other).
