The Waceya Métis Society is a Chartered Métis Community that proudly serves the Métis people in the Langley and White Rock regions. Our society is made up of an elected Board of Directors, an appointed Leadership Council, and our dedicated membership, all working together to create a thriving community.
Our mission is to identify and meet the needs of Métis people in our area by fostering strong relationships and increasing awareness of Métis culture. We are committed to engaging and educating our local communities, providing inclusive opportunities for multiple generations to connect, grow, and support each other. Guided by the principle of “Kaa-Wiichihitoyaahk,” which means “we take care of each other,” we strive to create a welcoming and supportive environment where all Métis can thrive.
